Rent-to-Own is a legal contract under which a structure is rented for a monthly payment. As a renter, you have three options:

1.) Purchase the structure at any time during the lease with no penalty for purchasing early.

2.) Rent the structure each month for the full term of the contract, and after your last payment, the structure is yours.

3.) Return the structure at any time free of charge and with no obligations on your part.

3 Simple Steps to Get Started

1. Choose your structure: Browse our online inventory or create a custom structure with our 3D builder. Tell the sales team you want a Rent-to-Own plan, and we will give you all available options.

2. Sign your Rent-To-Own contract: Our sales team will give you a rental contract to sign. After signing, make your initial payment. We require one month’s rent and a security deposit.

3. Delivery of rental: Timberline Barns offers FREE delivery and set-up for our sheds, garages, cabins, and buildings within 50 miles of our dealers. Our drivers are equipped with the proper tools and equipment to ensure your delivery goes as smoothly as possible. Delivery over 50 miles will be subject to an additional charge. After delivery, your payments will begin in 30 days.

Common Questions

How much is the initial payment? The initial payment is equivalent to 2 months’ rent, one monthly payment, and one security deposit.

When is my first payment due? Your first payment will be due 30 days after the structure is delivered. You will receive an invoice 10-15 days before each payment is due.

What is the interest rate? Rent-To-Own is not financing. Thus, there is no interest! You rent the structure on a month-to-month basis. For example, on a 36-month contract, 60% of each payment goes toward the purchase of the structure, and 40% goes toward rental fees.

Can I purchase early? Yes! You can purchase the structure at any time during the contract. You will receive an invoice with the Early Purchase Option amount listed each month. Once you can pay that amount in one transaction, contact HOMEWOOD RENTALS, who will mail you a transfer of ownership letter.

How do I make my payment? Contact HOMEWOOD RENTALS; they will process all your monthly rental payments. You can pay by phone, online, or sign up for autopay!
