Our Warranty

Timberline Barns, LLC desires to represent a solid foundation and ethical business practices, which includes building lasting relationships with satisfied customers and standing behind the quality of our product. As a result, we will endeavor to repair or replace any item or issue with our products that is reasonable and is not constructed in a manner consistent with what would be reasonably expected to be a portable storage building. The purpose of this warranty is to outline the specifics of our warranty and to clearly indicate the instances that are reasonable and unreasonable to address under a warranty.

Once installed, your Timberline Barns, LLC outbuilding product is and should remain free of workmanship and material defects. The Limited Warranty is as follows:

• 5 years for workmanship and materials from the date of purchase on your Timberline Barns storage building
• 1-year limited warranty on all doors 
• Standard Metal Roofing has a 10-year Limited Manufacturers’ Warranty
• Metal Buildings and Premium Metal Roofing have a Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty
• All Treated Lumber has a Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty against Termites and Fungal Decay
• LP SmartSide Siding & Trim comes with a 5/50 yr. manufacturer’s warranty*
• LP ProStruct Flooring has a 1/10 yr. manufacturer’s warranty* 

CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS

The building must be kept clear of vegetation both underneath and surrounding the building.

This warranty does not cover broken windows or other damages not reported at the time of initial delivery and setup (Cases reported within 24 hours will be considered at the discretion of Timberline Barns, LLC). 

This warranty does not apply to any building which has been subjected to misuse, alteration, negligence, accident, or has been damaged by vandalism, theft, water sprinklers, fire, flood, water, earthquake, hail, wind, adverse weather, insects, or other acts of God. Timberline Barns, LLC does not warranty accessories or parts from outside manufacturers where the product installed on a Timberline Barns, LLC barn has its own warranty, which exceeds the Timberline Barns, LLC warranty.

This warranty does not cover water sealers. Water sealer is rated for 3 years under normal environmental conditions; under certain circumstances that rating can vary including, but not limited to, an abnormal amount of sunlight or wet conditions for extended periods of time.

This warranty does not cover missing or lost keys or damage caused by any other misuse, alteration, neglect, improper maintenance, or abuse not specifically described in the preceding above.

Timberline Barns, LLC is not liable for any of the contents stored in the building including any damage caused to the contents by the defect of the building.

This warranty is not transferrable and is valid only for the original purchaser at the original installation location, however, Timberline Barns, LLC may consider, for a fee, a transfer of warranty to a new buyer under very specific conditions to be determined at the request of the buyer or seller.

Timberline Barns, LLC is not liable for any installation/repair costs for the natural characteristics of wood to split, warp and twist. Due to the weight of your building, natural settling may occur over time and it may become necessary to re-level the building. This limited warranty does not include re-leveling; however, Timberline Barns, LLC will provide this service for a fee. Multiple trips to re-level a building may indicate an unsuitable foundation or ground conditions. Pressure treated flooring is CCX grade and may have imperfections in appearance or seam gaps due to shrinkage or delamination from the pressure treating process; therefore, appearance is not covered under this warranty.
